Its back - The State Nightclub

Back for another year, the legendary State nightclub on Dale Street back to life for our annual Boxing Day rave!

Nestled in the heart of Liverpool on Dale Street, The State Nightclub, housed in the historic Grade II-listed State Insurance Building, has long been a landmark of the city’s nightlife. Designed by renowned architect Walter Aubrey Thomas—the mind behind the Royal Liver Building—the building originally opened in the early 1900s as a grand social venue, hosting tea rooms, ballroom dances, and later functioning as a department store. Over the decades, it has witnessed transformations that mirror the changing cultural landscape of Liverpool.

In every sense, The State stands as a testament to Liverpool’s rich musical history—a venue that has adapted and evolved while maintaining the spirit that made it legendary. The Boxing Day revivals are just the latest chapter in a story that celebrates music, community, and the enduring energy of one of the city’s most iconic nightlife destinations.

Welcoming local DJ’s such as Lee Butler, the State comes back annually for rave lovers to re live their youth and forget their troubles by dancing the night away.
